Last year, to meet surging demand, PASS received extra funding through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, receiving another $10 million on top of its original $1.5 allocated in the 2020-21 state budget.
As one of our valued partners in the PA Agricultural Surplus System (PASS) you know how important this program is to the millions of food insecure Pennsylvanians, especially the more than half a million children facing hunger. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still seeing a significant uptick in the families needing food assistance and we need your help! The PASS program is a win-win for agriculture and the charitable food network and our lawmakers need to know that the time is now to invest in both.
Join us in advocating for an increase in PASS! We just need a few pieces of information to connect you with your representatives.
